I wish the chocolate cake could speak…

This Friday a friend of mine ordered a chocolate cake with me to bake for her. All excited to bake a cake, I got myself prepared with recipes, ingredients etc… I always prefer to prepare the cake a night ahead as its easy to ice the cake the next day.. So with all the enthu i baked a cake. Everytime I bake a cake my heart starts beating faster than its normal pace, its like I’m writing my first exam hehehe I know funny naa but its true 
.. thats called cakephobeia in my terms 
.. Chocolate cake is one difficult cake to bake for me. Its a challenge as chocolate tends to get harder. This time I took the right measurements of all ingredients and at night 10 I put it into the oven, for the rest 45mins my heart beating fast and my mind thinking of what is happening with the cake i just sat in front of the oven (:| (Sweating).. Just as it was the right time I took it out, let it cool for 10 mins and took it out from the pan… Well it came out pretty good just for few burns here and there.. but not bad and was soft too.. A little satisfied with my work I went to bed waiting for the sun to rise..
Next day morning when i checked 
the cake crust got harder, my heart cried out loud saying – How I wish the chocolate cake could speak 
.. What did I miss to do this…Were the ingredients not right, or should i have iced the cake the very next hour after baking, so many questions running and me wishing if the cake could speak and talk it would have been so easy 
….
So now I am back to where I Started baking another cake.. hopefully this time I dont mess
