Summer is here and is the season of harvest of colorful fruits starting with strawberries, Sweet Cherry’s. I just love going for picking. Its so refreshing and the best part is you get to pick your own fruits from trees, and you can eat and taste as many as you like. And its the best family and friends fun time together.
So this weekend with our friends we planned up to try out the seasons first harvest Picking. We decided to start our adventure of picking at Belltown Hill Orchards, This place has one of the best diversified fruit orchards around. Along with cherries you also have strawberries and more different verities of fruits planted all around for this summer. It has its own bakery store where you can purchase the seasons fruits, donuts, pies, jams and much more.
The drive to the orchid is so beautiful. With beautiful houses on both sides of the hill.Curved lanes with green grass and landscapes on both sides.Its just so pleasant. And just as you are about to reach the Belltown Hill Orchards, you can see sign boards showing you the way.
Since we had options of both strawberries and cherries we picked cherries as one of my close friends are expecting and the mother wished cherries, so we said – “ So be it Cherries” 
.
The Orchids have different timing for picking which you can check on their site http://www.belltownhillorchards.com/ .
When we reach their you’ll see one small tent like store, their they provide with buckets and plastic bags, for you to put all your hand plucked cherries. Once you have them you can go do your picking enjoy until you wish or till the time permits and do your picking , tasting clicking snaps, just enjoy and have fun. At the end once you have finished all your picking you come back to the counter, check the weight of your hand picked berries, pay and roll .

Well at the end we had a lovely fun time. We returned home with red tasty cherry’s all hand picked was so happy. Now I’m thinking of what to do with them shall try some thing new to prepare with it like cherry pie
